About Emma

Emma Lindstrom grew up spending her summers riding in Sweden and the rest of the year riding and competing in Southern California.  She spent 2 years as a working student for Karen Healey and finished a very successful Junior career in the equitation showing under Karen's tutelage with competitive results in all the major equitation finals including the National Finals back east.
In 1998 she went to work for Otis Brown Jr in Nashville, Tennessee.  She spent 4 years there training, showing, teaching, and working there at Brass Lantern Farm.  She had a lot of success developing and showing many young hunters as well as training many successful riders.
In 2002 she returned to California and after a few years graduated from CSUN with a Bachelor's degree in Child Development and Psychology.
In 2003 she started working with Jeni Brown at Shadowbrook Stables in Moorpark, CA.  She is extremely dedicated and passionate about her life with horses.  She has amazing talent as a rider, competitor and instructor.  Many young horses have developed into wonderfully trained and suitable mounts for children and adults due to her knowledge and patient training. She also really enjoys teaching young children, watching them learn and improve as she shares her love of horses and riding with them.
