Rates and Services
We offer all different services for our clients who lease or own their own horses.
AT HOME
At our facility in Fillmore
Full Training: Group lesson or training ride 5 times per week- $750 per month
Half Training: Group lesson or training ride 3x per week- $450 per month
Partial Grooming: Includes supervised turn out 7 days a week, blanketing service, and feeding of supplements and medications. Grooms will also prep and clean up the horses for trainer rides. All horses must receive this essential day care- $550 per month.
Full Grooming: In addition to ALL the services in partial grooming, this includes daily grooming and tacking up for customer lessons, putting horse on treadmill, show prep, etc. - $750 per month.
Boarding Fees
Board: 12x12 Barn stalls with 12x24 in and out, or 12x24 wire mesh mare motel stalls. All stalls have comfort mattresses, we bed with bag shavings and clean 2x a day- $1200 per month
Hay: Timothy and Alfalfa hay is fed 3x per day- Charges will be billed monthly depending on current cost of hay and amount your horse eats, cost ranges from $250-$350 per month
Supplemental Feed & Supplies: We feed an assortment of Nutrena and Purina feeds, beet pulp, rice bran, timothy pellets, etc. This also includes cost for all the grooming and barn supplies used on the horses at home. $150 per month Customers supply/purchase their own supplements and medications.
AT SHOWS
Training Fees
$100 per day on showing days, includes all training and show ring rides. $50 on non-showing days when trainers ride/prep the horses.
Trainers expenses, fuel costs, supply fees will be split by number of horses at show.
Grooming Fees
$100 per day. This should be paid directly to the grooms at the show for every day the horse is at the show, and one additional set up day, if horses come later in the week.
* Hotel fees for the grooms will be added and paid to grooms at most away shows.
Hauling Fees
LA Area shows- $250 per round trip. (Cost varies for out of area shows) Oaks $500, Temecula $550 San Diego and Thermal $600 all round trip.
SALES
Fees
Any purchase, sale, or lease of a horse that Shadowbrook Stables is involved with will be assessed a 10% commission.
RETIREMENT & REHAB PRICES
Pasture boarding with other horses:
The multiple horse pastures are large enclosures; each has lots of shade and a covered shelter. They are cleaned daily, and horses are fed high quality alfalfa, grass and forage hay twice a day and supplemental feed once a day. The horses are groomed twice a week. Basic medications can be fed daily as well. Cost is $700/month.
Rehabbing horses who live in stalls:
The 12x12 barn stalls all have comfort mattresses and 12'x 24' in and outs with wire mesh fencing. 12x24 wire mesh mare motel stalls are also available. Each stall is bedded with bag shavings, and is cleaned twice a day. All feeding of supplements and medications, wrapping and grooming is included for $1,500/month.
Horses can be put on the treadmill 6x a week for an additional $500.
